After some years, we are re-editing this classic blend with Carménère, a typical variety of Chile which expresses the supreme elegance of the New World.
Tasting Notes
This wine has a brilliant and profound ruby-red color. On the nose it presents itself complex and elegant, with aromas of tobacco, cedar, tones of fruits like blackberry, and rose petals. In the mouth, its acidity is elegant, involving, mature tannins, a good finish.
Variety
40% Cabernet Sauvignon, 30% Malbec, 20% Carménère and 10% Cabernet Franc.
Harvest
Hand-picked separately during the second week of April and the beginning of May, 2008.
Matching
This blend of four grape varieties may be accompanied by different types of meat or salmon. When young, this is the perfect accompaniment to red meats, stews and sauces.
