Casa Donoso produced this wine to celebrate 200 years of independence of Chile, seeking to recover the tradition and evoke the idiosyncratic Creole, and invites you to enjoy the flavors and aromas of our famous terroir Maulino in different grape varieties.
Tasting Notes
It is a wine with an intense red color, with aromatic herb notes, fresh and mature fruit like plums and red currants. It shows a rich toast, as a result of being aged in oak barrels, with balanced and friendly tannins, and an elegant finish.
Variety
86% Carménère, 7% Cabernet Sauvignon and 7% Malbec.
Harvest
Hand-picked between April 27 and May 15, 2009.
Matching
Recommended to be served with fine cuts of beef and a wide range of white meats, pasta and spicy dishes.
