Casa Donoso produced this wine to celebrate 200 years of independence of Chile, seeking to recover the tradition and evoke the idiosyncratic Creole, and invites you to enjoy the flavors and aromas of our famous terroir Maulino in different grape varieties.
Tasting Notes
This wine has great violet-red color. It shows interesting fruit notes of blackberries and plum to the nose. The toasted oak notes, joint to the barrel aging, come out nicely in the mouth.
Variety
85% Cabernet Sauvignon, 10% Carménère y 5% Cabernet Franc of Sandy clay loam.
Harvest
Hand-picked grapes between April 25 and May 15, 2009.
Matching
Recommended to be served with all red meats and spicy dishes. Aged cheeses are a great complement for its tannins.
